Problems that Syncro racking solves… to help you work better

Want to know what difference a Syncro-equipped van will make to you?

1. Noise. You can say goodbye to the noise caused by tools and equipment slamming against the walls, buckets sliding around, and tool cases falling over at every turn. With Syncro cargo retaining systems, non-slip mats, shelf and drawer dividers, automatic drawer latches and Ultrasilent profile for your roof rack, most of the noise caused by cargo sliding around is eliminated and your journey becomes relaxing instead of stressful!

2. Frequent unloading. You will no longer need to unload half of your van onto the pavement to get at spare parts and equipment hidden behind mountains of material. Syncro’s tailor-made racking solutions dramatically improve the ergonomics of your movements.

3. Treasure hunting. Have you added up all the minutes you waste daily looking for tools like pliers or items like wall plugs in a pile of material? Do you realise that, when added up, these minutes become hours and even days of lost work? A custom racking solution enables you to keep everything in order, so that you can find exactly what you need – even in the dark!

4. Unnecessary damage. Tools cost money. Your van’s bodywork costs even more! With Syncro cargo retaining systems, you will never again be faced with damaged tools, equipment and van bodywork.

5. The image of improvising. Put yourself in your customers’ shoes. If they see you opening the rear doors of your van and rummaging through a pile of parts, what impression will they have of your quote or your professionalism? With a Syncro racking system, your customers see a well-organised and confident business that does not waste time and knows exactly what to do!

An example: a complete racking solution in a renovation firm’s Transit

On this page we present a complete racking solution installed by Syncro in a Ford Transit L2 H2 owned by a construction company that specialises in renovation work.

To begin with, the vehicle was fitted with interior protection. To complement the floor liner that was already in place, Syncro fitted grey, galvanised and painted steel panels to the top sections of the doors and to the side walls.

Racking was then installed on both sides of the van, reserving the rear doors and bulkhead for the installation of cargo lashing accessories chosen to maximise the van’s functionality.

Drawers and shelves on the left of the Transit

On the left of the renovation firm’s Transit Syncro installed:

  • two floor-level compartments, the first delimited by a bottom panel, the second with a lashing strap at the front
  • 16 metal drawers, all with non-slip bottom mats and internal space dividers for maximum order
  • five configurable shelves

Only a cable seat is fixed to the racking side panel, but the van’s owner can add other accessories at any time using the holes provided.

The racking on the right of the Transit

Though the right wall of the Transit is limited by the presence of the sliding door, it is still large enough to be transformed into a generous mobile warehouse comprising: one floor-level compartment with a bottom panel, five drawers, two pull-out trays for tool cases and four configurable shelves. The rear-facing side panel is equipped with a fold-away vice bench complete with telescopic support and metal vice. This valuable accessory provides the van’s users with a robust work surface with vice for performing small jobs just as in any workshop, without, however, taking up room in the centre of the van!

Cable holders have been added to both racking side panels.

Surfaces not to be forgotten: the doors and roof

A van is not made of side walls alone. With the necessary precautions, the doors and roof can be turned into useful spaces too!

In this Transit, the underside of the roof has been equipped with 6 Prax clips for securing long items like the brushes seen in these photos.

Both the rear doors have been fitted with Syncroblock bars combined with movable telescopic hooks, and with attachments for lashing straps underneath. The equipment on the left door holds a folding ladder in place. That on the right secures a pair of concrete spreaders. Ladder and spreaders are the customer’s own equipment.
