VAN RACKING FOR MARKET TRADERS

For market traders the van is much more than a means of transport: often it is the only base for the business, with no shop behind it. The Fiat Ducato in this example belongs to a travelling trader who relies entirely on the vehicle for their work. On the left-hand wall Syncro System installed a floor-to-ceiling unit with metal drawers, a pull-out tray and open shelves with dividers for jerrycans of liquids fitted with taps; on the right-hand wall there are more shelves for jerrycans and Euronorm containers that can be reached from outside the van.

Tailor-made tubs in resin-coated marine plywood have been built on the rear sides of the units. The flooring is made of the same material, here with a rubberised finish for maximum grip: a sensible choice when handling liquids.

Every market trader has different needs, depending on the goods sold and on how they are loaded, carried and served.
