CERTIFICATIONS FOR SYNCRO VAN RACKING

The Syncro System Group has always invested in quality, designing and manufacturing solutions for the fitting-out of commercial vehicles that combine lightness, sturdiness and long-lasting reliability. Every product is designed to guarantee a safe and trouble-free user experience, while the organization and specialized staff support the customer at every stage: from choosing the most suitable solution, to fast and precise fitting, through to after-sales assistance, revision and removal services.

This commitment is officially recognized by the certification of the Quality Management System according to the ISO 9001:2015 standard, issued by TÜV Rheinland Italia. The certification, first obtained in 2012 and constantly renewed, covers the entire company process: design, production, installation, sale and assistance of products for the fitting-out of commercial vehicles. The current validity is from 26/01/2024 to 25/01/2027.

The adoption of a risk-based approach, quality-oriented leadership and attention to the internal and external context allow Syncro System to guarantee a sustainable and reliable offer, able to meet the needs of customers and partners over time.

On 11/03/2004 Syncro System SpA obtained the GS certification (Geprüfte Sicherheit – "Proven Safety") from TÜV Rheinland Product Safety, a voluntary mark that attests the safety of the product for the end user and the periodic control of the production facilities.

The certification is based on the ECE R17 standard and involves severe crash tests against a rigid barrier, with decelerations of up to about 20 G. The tests demonstrate that Syncro System equipment guarantees high structural resistance even in the event of serious impacts, preventing the detachment of dangerous components and ensuring effective containment of the transported material.

The GS mark therefore confirms that Syncro System products, in addition to being functional and lightweight, offer maximum levels of safety for the user and the vehicle.

Syncro System roof racks and roof carriers have been subjected to severe resistance tests by TÜV Rheinland, according to the DIN 75302 standard, on the declared capacities of 100 kg for small vans, 150 kg for medium vans and 200 kg for large vans.

The tests included emergency braking from 80 km/h to 0 km/h with maximum load, horizontal and inclined traction up to 4 times the nominal capacity, as well as a prolonged load-lifting test. All the stresses were applied both with the vehicle in motion and stationary, through external traction.

The particularly demanding tests were passed successfully: Syncro System roof carriers showed no signs of failure or deformation, confirming high standards of safety, sturdiness and reliability.

Among Syncro System securing accessories, lashing straps play a fundamental role in load safety. All the models in the catalogue, in the securing accessories section, are tested and approved according to the DIN EN 12195-2 standard.

As required by the standard, each strap is equipped with a specific identification label (with a colour varying according to the material), which shows the main technical information: load capacity in daN, maximum elongation, SHF (standard hand force) and STF (standard tension force) values, reference standard, material, length, supplier's mark and identification number.

Lashing straps are often used in combination with securing hooks to ensure the correct securing of the load in the load compartment. The ROTAL-GNC, ROTAL-GNC.AN and GNBC hooks, available in the Syncro System securing accessories section, have been tested according to the ISO 27956:2009 standard, which defines the requirements and verification methods for anchoring points in vehicles.

The tests involved applying a load of 1000 kg with traction angles of 0° and 60°, developing a force of 2.5 kN. All the hooks passed the tests; some models demonstrated superior resistance, maintaining structural integrity even under a double force of 5 kN.

All Syncro System van racking systems are designed and manufactured in full compliance with European directives, Italian regulations and the applicable harmonized standards.

In particular, the products comply with the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC (transposed by D.P.R. 17/2010), with Directive 89/391/EEC on workplace safety (transposed by Legislative Decree 81/08), as well as with the main reference technical standards, including UNI EN ISO 12100 and CEI EN 60204-1.

The equipment also includes the approval certificate pursuant to the Italian Highway Code (D.P.R. 495/1992, art. 54, paragraph 2, letter ff) for workshop-use vehicles, and is subjected to resistance and safety tests according to the applicable UNI standards, including the ECE R17 (sled test) and ZEK 01.2 tests.

The complete technical file, containing project documentation, construction drawings, layouts, test results and use and maintenance manuals, is available to the competent authorities at the Syncro System SpA headquarters. All products are fully compliant with workplace safety regulations.
