The van shown on this page is a large L3 H3 variant of the MAN TGE. The company that owns it installs gates and fences and is often faced with situations like that imagined above.

The primary objective is to always have everything needed for the job. No sooner said than done! The solution comes in the shape of a large number of open and enclosed elements – drawers, shelves, cases and case storage. Racking is installed on both side walls, while the bulkhead is equipped only with two Syncroblock bars, one at the top and one at the bottom, fitted with cable holders and a and hook and strap lashing system respectively.

This MAN TGE came into our workshop with a floor liner already installed. Syncro therefore concentrated on the walls and doors and, in response to the customer's request for lightweight bodywork protection, installed panels of honeycomb polypropylene. This material guarantees effective protection for the sheet metal beneath. By placing a lightweight but strong shield between the bodywork and the racking, these liner panels keep the walls and doors in tip-top condition for years to come, preventing the dents and scratches that would otherwise lead to rust.

Two columns of racking are installed on the left side this MAN TGE.

• The forward column consists of a floor-level case compartment with a lashing strap at the front, a shelf with a lift-up door and two configurable shelves with bottom mats and space dividers.
• The rear column starts with a floor-level compartment with a lift-up door, continues with four metal drawers alongside four case trays, and ends with two configurable shelves.
• Across both columns runs is a full-length top tray with an access door at the rear.

In this case, the racking does not reach the roof of the van. You can, of course, chose freely whether to make use of every inch of height or limit yourself to installing only the elements you think you’ll need, leaving some areas clear.

A handwash kit with water tank and tap is installed on the rear-facing side panel, along with a paper roll holder.

On the right of this MAN TGE, the gate and fencing firm chose to install enough containers to store a large number of different spares parts and sundries.

The Syncro team divided the racking into two sections. The bottom section contains larger compartments, in particular a floor-level compartment with a lift-up door, two metal drawers and two configurable shelves. The top section consists of Multibox cabinets providing a total of 30 pull-out transparent containers in two different sizes.

The racking is completed at the top by another configurable shelf.

The rear-facing side panel is equipped with a fold-away vice bench (complete with metal vice) that extends outwards through the rear doors.
