The work of installing and servicing refrigeration systems always begins in the same way: with a van. Between one job and the next, the van always has to be reloaded, new spares have to be selected, and tools and materials checked. If the cargo compartment is not well organised, each of these tasks becomes far slower and more onerous. A racking solution from Syncro System speeds up movements inside the van, avoids unnecessary fatigue, and saves you time and money.

With a professionally equipped van, you work more methodically and your customers notice!

On this page we take a look at the benefits of a Syncro racking system in a MAN TGE L3 H2 owned by a company that provides technical assistance for refrigeration systems.

Syncro liners extend the life of your van

Prevention is the key to a long life for your van. Preventing the sort of damage caused by dents, scratches and damp avoids the need for bodywork repair and ensures a higher resale value for your van.

How do you do this? By installing Syncro System van liners! All Syncro liners are pre-shaped and pre-drilled for the specific model of van. Syncro liners also come in a choice of materials to suit your practical needs and preferences.

The MAN TGE seen here is protected by a marble-look plywood floor liner and bulkhead lining panels in the same material. The bulkhead liners deserve special note since they have to follow very complex contours. No problem for Syncro, of course, because all panels are custom-made at our Cassola factory.

The customer chose to line the walls of the van with panels of honeycomb polypropylene. Compared to aluminium chequer plate or painted steel sheet, polypropylene is far lighter while still offering very good strength.

Benefits: The van’s bodywork remains intact for longer; there is no need to drill holes in the original body to fix racking and accessories; and cleaning the interior becomes far easier.

Drawers and a case compartment on the left of the MAN TGE

Both sides of this MAN TGE for servicing refrigeration systems have been equipped to carry the equipment needed. On the left we have:

  • an area around the wheel arch transformed into a practical storage compartment by the addition of a bottom profile at the front
  • another floor-level compartment further forward, equipped with a case transport kit with end plate and lashing strap
  • a set of five metal drawers with non-slip mats and internal dividers in the rearmost column
  • two configurable shelves, two open shelves with patented lift-and-rotate doors and a full-length top tray for long objects, complete with a rear-facing access door
  • a hook and strap lashing system on the rear-facing side panel

Benefits: Everything has its own place; cases of different shape and size, small packages, pipes and fittings can all be carried without safely and securely.

Removable containers on the right of the MAN TGE

The right side of the Man TGE is organised as follows:

  • a lashing strap for securing materials in the floor-level compartment around the wheel arch
  • four case trays carrying a total of eight metal tool cases
  • four configurable shelves, including two very small for frequently used consumables, and two full-length at the top of the column
  • a specially shaped shelf with four large, removable plastic containers
  • hook and strap lashing systems on both racking side panels

Benefits: The lashing straps allow even unusual equipment or oddly shaped materials to be transported safely. The large number of removable containers (cases and boxes) ensures maximum flexibility when moving around at the work site.

The MAN TGE’s roof rack

This MAN TGE L3 H2 roof is also fitted with a Syncro roof rack in the form of cross bars with load stops and a special feature under the front bar. This feature is the unique Ultrasilent rubber profile, which reduces noise and vibration in the cab by disrupting the air flow between the bar and the roof when the van is travelling.

Benefits: Large items of cargo can be carried on the roof instead of inside the van, improving interior space and accessibility. And driving with a roof rack is far more pleasant thanks to Ultrasilent technology!
