Racking covers both side walls, occupying all available space in height and in length. On the right are small containers for spares, tools and sundries, while on the left, in addition to a large number of shelves and drawers, we have a small workbench.

The bulkhead is equipped only with accessories and is free from racking. This leaves plenty of space for loading and unloading bulky materials through the van’s rear and side doors.

To preserve the original bodywork of this MAN TGE from the dents and scratches typical of building material handling operations, Syncro installed a complete system of floor and wall liners.

The floor is protected by a floor liner in marine grade plywood. This features a non-slip, marble-look surface, recessed cups for the original anchor rings and protective stainless-steel profiles at the exposed edges.

The walls and doors are lined with galvanised steel panels painted in an attractive grey. These are specially shaped to provide particularly effective protection for the vehicle’s own body panels.

The arrangement of the racking on the left of this plumber’s MAN TGE follows a clear plan: to provide plenty of space for storing frequently used tools, materials and other items, and also to provide a dedicated workbench. The configuration on this wall comprises:

• Two floor-level compartments transformed into practical storage spaces in different ways: that over the wheel arch by adding a panel at the bottom, that at the front of the van by adding a strap-type lashing system.
• Four drawers with non-slip mats and internal space dividers.
• A total of nine configurable shelves. 
• A full-length top tray with access door at the rear.
• A compartment at mid-height transformed into a workbench by the addition of a work surface and raised rear edge in marble-look plywood.
• An additional fold-away vice bench, fixed to rear-facing side panel.

The racking on the right of this MAN TGE is made up of three sections of different depths to follow the contours of the bodywork.

The bottom section is the deepest and consists of four specially shaped open shelves carrying a total of thirty-two removable plastic containers.

Above are two rows of Multibox cabinets with ten large, deeper containers at the bottom and ten smaller ones of reduced depth at the top.

Take cargo retaining accessories for example. These allow you to transport material of any size in total safety.
