A MERCEDES SPRINTER L2 H2 FOR A PLUMBER IN ROME

A Sprinter racking system for a Rome-based plumbing service

Save time and work more professionally, in even the toughest situations

11:30, Rome. You’ve just finished a job when you get an urgent call from a block of flats on the other side of the city. There’s a leak and they can’t wait until the afternoon.

If everything you need is already in your van, you’ll be able to fix with the problem quickly without having to go back to your workshop.

And if all your tools and materials are in order, when you reach the client’s flat, you won’t have to search through untidy piles of stuff: you just open your van’s rear doors and select what you need. The client will see for himself that everything is in the right place and watch you go confidently to exactly the right drawer. Then, if a minor adjustment is needed, you can use the vice bench attached to the racking without having to move heavy equipment or climb around inside the van.

Ever been in similar situations? Would you like to deal with them more effectively? Contact Syncro System now to arrange an obligation-free consultation! It’s the first step to becoming truly efficient!

Let’s take a look at a real-world example of Syncro System’s racking design and installation capabilities.

Situations like that described above can be managed with perfect ease if your van is equipped with a Syncro racking solution! On this page you can see photos of a Mercedes Sprinter L2 H2 that the Syncro team transformed for a plumber in Rome. Here are some of the immediate benefits of this van’s racking system:

  • perfect order, thanks to a choice of storage elements: some transparent, some open and removable, and some dedicated to specific materials;
  • a work surface in the form of a large, robust, fold-away vice bench that takes up very little space when not in use;
  • the ability to transport large equipment safely, thanks to cargo bars and other accessories for securing cargo and for preventing movement and accidental damage.

Liners for the Sprinter

A van used to carry plumbing equipment needs a solid floor and strong bodywork liners. Before installing any racking, Syncro fitted this Sprinter with a floor liner made from marble-look, marine grade plywood, and with rails recessed into it for securing cargo bars (see below). The van was also fitted with wall liners made from galvanised and painted steel panels.

The left of the Sprinter: a place for everything

The left of this Sprinter boasts full-height racking consisting of open and enclosed storage elements. In particular, there are:

The rear-facing side panel is fitted with a Syncroblock bar with a lashing strap and a silicone cartridge rack with holes for the nozzles.

The Sprinter’s zero-footprint work station where everything is at your fingertips

The right wall of the Sprinter complements the storage function with a high-strength, fold-away vice bench.

Starting from the bottom we find: a floor-level compartment with a lift-up door, two drawers, four shelves (counting the one at the top), and a large section of MultiBox cabinets providing a total of 36 pull-out transparent containers.

The side panel near the rear doors is equipped with a fold-away vice bench with telescopic support, a second silicone cartridge rack and a spray can rack. The other side panel is fitted with a cabinet of three tilting transparent containers and a bar rack with strap.

Cargo bars integrated in the Sprinter’s bulkhead area and loadspace

The plumber who owns this Sprinter wanted maximum safety for transporting valuable equipment and asked Syncro to install:

  • two cargo bars, fixed vertically to rails, one recessed into the floor and the other under the roof; these can be moved or removed easily as required, and help to divide the cargo compartment into sections, keeping the cargo separate and secure
  • two Syncroblock bars on the bulkhead, one at the top with movable, telescopic hooks, and one at the bottom with hooks and lashing straps.
