FRANCOM SPA SUPPORTS "I BAMBINI DELLE FATE"

Francom Spa supports the I Bambini delle Fate foundation for the sixth year: social inclusion projects for children and teenagers with autism

Francom for “I bambini delle fate”: the story of a lasting partnership

"I bambini delle fate" Foundation

It has now been 6 years since Francom Spa first joined the group of companies that steadily support the “I bambini delle fate” Foundation. Enthusiasm for the initiative has remained the same: companies are asked not to donate, but to truly do business for social good, devoting a share of their revenue each month to integration and autonomy programmes for children and teenagers with autism spectrum disorders. Thanks to Francom Spa and around 600 Italian companies that have committed to a genuine social responsibility contract, the Foundation chaired by Franco Antonello is currently running 62 projects across Italy, helping 1,300 families.

2017-2018: Francom supports the social inclusion project of the F.A.R.C.E.L.A. association

Each company works especially for the area where it operates: this year too Francom supported the F.A.R.C.E.L.A. association of Castelfranco, which organised social inclusion and therapy projects for 70 young people with intellectual disabilities and autism. A range of activities spanning from swimming to hippotherapy, as well as music therapy and theatre, keeping participants engaged almost every afternoon of the week. Besides actively involving the young protagonists, these programmes bring relief to their families, who can confidently entrust their special children to trained, welcoming staff and are always happily surprised to find them more independent and at ease in everyday life. The last event of 2018 will take place on 7 December at the Teatro Accademico in Castelfranco Veneto, where the group of young actors will stage the play “Don Chisciotte Cavaliere”.
