FIAT DOBLÒ RACKING FOR PLUMBERS

Syncro System designs and installs fully customised racking solutions for all trades and professions, but plumbers are certainly among those who come to Syncro workshops most frequently.

Though all plumbers have certain requirements in common, every racking system we install is unique. We stand out for our ability to respond in a totally personal way to all requests. After all, even if our customers work in the same trade, they may specialise in different aspects, live in different climates, focus on certain types of job, and follow different procedures. In fact, there are thousands of variables.

Here's the racking system we installed for a plumber who chose a Fiat Doblò.

The vehicle in the photo above is a Fiat Doblò.

Use: The van is owned by a plumber who installs and services heating and air conditioning systems.

Dimensions: The Fiat Doblò belongs to the small-medium compact category, with a cargo volume of 3.3 m³.

Engine: The Doblò runs on diesel, making it particularly suitable for long journeys and motorway travel.

Configuration: The van has one sliding side door on the right. Racking has been installed on both side walls, while the bulkhead has been fitted with cargo lashing accessories.

Let's take a closer look at the details.

Syncro System's racking technicians always start by installing liners, as these are essential for protecting the bodywork against dents, scratches and damp, and also provide stable support for racking and accessories.

In this case, however, the lining stage was skipped because the Fiat Doblò came to the Syncro workshop with a plywood floor liner already fitted.

The left side of the Fiat Doblò has a floor-level compartment fitted with a case fixing kit, side panel and lashing strap. The central section of the racking is divided into two drawers on the inside and two patented case trays towards the rear. At the top are two configurable shelves with non-slip mats and space dividers.

Accessories: Two spray can racks have been fixed to the rear-facing side panel.

The right side of the Fiat Doblò consists of a floor-level compartment almost completely enclosed by a patented lift-and-rotate door and three MultiBox cabinets, the last one with a shallow model. These cabinets provide a total of twelve pull-out transparent drawers and three tilting containers.

At mid-height on the bulkhead of the Fiat Doblò, Syncro has installed a Syncroblock bar with hooks and a lashing strap, used to secure bulkier loads that don't fit in the floor-level compartments, drawers or shelves, and that can be loaded through the sliding side door.
