A FIAT DOBLÒ EQUIPPED FOR AN ACCESS AUTOMATION COMPANY
Stage 1: interior liners
Stage 2: a racking configuration that meets the customer’s needs
The installation in this Doblò is made from Syncro’s new Ultra racking, easily recognisable for the equally spaced holes in the side panels. Ultra racking is amazingly flexible and can be combined in an infinite number of ways to produce totally personal configurations.
With the liners in place, the Syncro team moved on to the racking as such.
- Left side wall. The racking here features a practical, floor-level compartment with an automatic case shuttle and various types of storage, including metal drawers, trays for plastic cases, pull-out transparent containers and, at the top, plastic containers in a specially adapted shelf.
- Right side wall. The racking on this side is more compact because of the side door, a van design feature that all racking systems have to take into account. The wheel arch has been partly enclosed to create a practical storage compartment. Above this are two metal drawers, more pull-out transparent containers and a top shelf.
Stage 3: adding useful and often essential accessories
While racking and storage form the basis of any van conversion, accessories can transform a well-equipped van into a highly functional mobile workshop. The Doblò seen in these photos is fitted with:
- a paper roll holder, essential for working “on the move” and keeping hands and tools clean
- a spray can rack
- a cable holder
- a cargo retaining system on the bulkhead, with slide bar, fittings and straps
- a powerful LED ceiling light for illuminating the cargo compartment
Stage 4: roof rack
With the interior of the van fitted out, this Doblò was given additional load capacity on the roof, in the form of a Syncro System roof rack with Ultrasilent profile. This not only increases load capacity but also keeps the inside of the van free from awkward, bulky objects.
