Lining the interior bodywork of the van is not mandatory but is warmly recommended by all Syncro technicians for several reasons:

1. it keeps the van in better condition for longer;
2. it is aesthetically pleasing and easy to clean;
3. it provides a solid base for attaching furniture and accessories;
4. it reduces the risk of accidental falls for operators.

The Boxer in the photos has been protected with a uniform lining covering all surfaces of interest:

• the floor, with a flooring in resin-coated marine plywood;
• the bulkhead, where the technicians continued using resin-coated marine plywood, adapting the panels to follow the wall's profile;
• walls and doors, with pre-painted sheet metal panelling.

The furniture fitted inside this Boxer creates a complete mobile workshop with space for storing objects, spare parts and small parts, as well as surfaces that can be used for small finishing and repair jobs. The left wall serves as a spacious storage area, where tools and other materials can be stored inside metal drawers, shelves with flaps, open shelving or in the handy enclosed compartment at floor level next to a versatile case holder. An apical gutter has been fitted for transporting conduit and pipes, allowing items to be retrieved either from above or by opening the small door on the short side.

The right wall adds further storage, including transparent pull-out drawers, particularly suited to small parts and spares, as well as a practical vice mounted on a sturdy tilting vice mount. In the photo the accessory is shown closed, but it can be opened in a few simple steps: once secured onto its support, it becomes an extremely solid and sturdy work surface.
