This summer, Syncro System was one of a number of Cassola-based companies who supported the “Ci Sto? Affare fatica!” (“Shall I work? Yes, I shall”) active citizenship project by taking part the Myteam initiative and sponsoring one of ten teams who helped to make the town more attractive by tidying up parks and green spaces, cleaning and restoring sports facilities, painting urban furnishings, and sorting and transporting material for local schools.

The project attracted about a hundred young citizens of Cassola willing to get their hands dirty and eager to meet new friends and help the community. Participants were in the 14 to 19 age group and included boys and girls from the local area. The youngsters, divided into groups of 10, were assisted in the work by a young adult volunteer (tutor) and an older adult (handyman) who coordinated efforts and helped with the more difficult parts of the work.

Cassola’s “Ci sto? Affare fatica!” project ran for a total of five weeks, with two teams working at a time. Each of the participants (including the tutor) worked with their team every morning and were eventually rewarded with an “Effort Voucher”. And this is exactly where the sponsorship of local businesses like Syncro System came in, by financing proper recognition of the youngsters’ efforts and commitment to their community.

The “Ci Sto? Affare Fatica!” project was originally launched in 2016 by the Adelante Cooperative in the Veneto region, but soon spread to municipalities in 7 other regions. In the summer of 2025, in the Bassanese area alone, 771 teenagers got involved and did a total of 19,360 hours of work in 7 weeks!
